the Island
We recognize sustainability and the health of our oceans, soils and the importance of our food communities and growing local economy in everything we do. We hope you will too.
Sustainable together - a small contribution can make a big difference!
We can achieve a lot with our measures, but of course we also count on the help of our guests.
In order to help us tread lightly on this delicate ecosystem we kindly ask you to please be considerate when selecting your suntan lotion - reef friendly ones will protect the fish on our reef!
We are working to reduce our environmental impact and as such your sheets and towels are changed every three days, or at your request.
We ask that you assist us in our energy conservation by turning off your air conditioning unit, fan and lights when you are not in the room and to not let the water run unnecessarily. Additionally, we urge you to ensure the doors remain closed if the air conditioning unit is in use.

Seastar House is the first villa to be part of the One Dollar Initiative, whereby one dollar per guest per night is donated to the Barbados Environmental Conservation Trust. We recognises that sustainability, ocean health, food and local communities are central to island life.
We are offering locally bottled Eco Sky sparkling water, distilled and bottled here on the island, with zero emissions, from some of the purest air on earth which will be added to your bill after the duration of your stay.
