Tucked away in the tranquil residential community of Gibbes Glade, on the West Coast of Barbados, Seastar House is a hidden gem that ensures utmost seclusion amidst verdant, lush greenery. The main house boasts four exquisite bedrooms, while an additional self-contained, 2-bedroom Cottage adds to the allure.
The blended tones and textures of Seastar House create a welcoming, uplifting, inspiring and peaceful home that is in tune with the natural surroundings, focused on stimulating all the senses which we believe is the essence of island living.
A large double height entrance hall leads through to the living room and kitchen with an open stairwell leading up to the first and second floors. This enchanting 6-bedroom home promises a truly blissful escape on the beautiful island of Barbados.
the Sleeping
Each bedroom at Seastar House exudes an airy charm with high ceilings, breezy balconies, and open spaces that invite the tropical ambiance to embrace you.
The master suite on the first floor takes opulence to new heights with an indulgent outdoor bathtub, offering sundown bathing overlooking the gardens and pool. A super king bed, his and hers wardrobes, an ensuite shower room with double sinks leading onto a spacious wrap-around covered terrace, makes for a spacious and luxurious place to relax. A seating area at the front of the terrace is the perfect place to relax and soak up the morning sun.
The second super king bedroom with an ensuite shower room, walk-in wardrobes and plenty of space to relax inside or out on the covered terrace overlooking the pool and sundeck.
Further upstairs leads you to the second floor loft at the very top of the house, with an airy, open landing that is covered. This lounge area with cosy sofas and a televison is an ideal space for kids, teenagers and families. Either side of the landing are two ensuite bedrooms.
the Dining
The Ground Floor has two covered sun decks, one leading through to the living room with comfortable sofas, coffee table books and a television, while the other terrace has a 10 seater dining table and leads through to the spacious kitchen. Beside the kitchen terrace there is a BBQ area with counter seating and a window bar through to the kitchen where you can enjoy the freedom to dine at your leisure al fresco.

the Outdoors
The beautiful spacious outdoor decked pool area, with a swim-jet pool, is a dream for those wanting to work on their swim technique while on holiday. The pool area is surrounded by lush tropical plants and comfy sun loungers, creating a serene oasis where you can unwind and soak up the sunshine.
Just a hop, skip, and jump away, the world-famous Gibbs Beach and Sea Shed restaurant eagerly awaits your exploration. And, if you’re feeling adventurous, paddle boards, kayaks, and surfboards are at your disposal for thrilling beach adventures.
the Cottage
Beside the main house the charming 2-bedroom cottage that promises a delightful stay, featuring two ensuite bathrooms, a cosy kitchenette and living room that opens onto an inviting terrace with direct access to the pool area.
The ground floor cottage has an open plan living and kitchen space with a casual bistro dining area on a covered terrace. An accessible bedroom with a super king bed and ensuite shower room decorated in cool and calming tones with comfortable and luxurious furnishings and textures. This superking bed can be split into two beds with separate headboards if required.
